SYNTHETIC TURF PITCH The latest addition to complete the fantastic Sports Facilities at Sharnbrook Upper School is the All Weather, Multi Sport, Full Size, Floodlit Synthetic Turf Pitch that opened in October 2005. The two main sports that will be played on this facility will primarily be Football and Hockey, but the nature of the surface means that most sports can be accommodated. The fact that it is an all weather facility will add significant value to the PE Departments Curriculum and Extra Curricular activities, not to mention the huge benefit to local youth and adult community teams.
